Candle Care

Candle Care: Trim wicks to 1/4" before lighting. Ensure wicks are standing straight up. Before lighting again, allow the candle to completely cool. Always recenter your wicks before burning again. Do not burn candles for more than (4) four hours at a time. It is recommended to burn in 2-3 hour increments, always allowing a full melt pool to form. Stop use when only 1/2" of wax remains.

First Light: Allow your candle to burn for at least a few hours the first time. This will allow the candle to develop an even "melt pool" to ensure a clean, balanced burn throughout the life of the candle. Believe it or not, candles have memory. The first burn is VERY important! Tip: Do not extinguish candle if a full melt pool has not been reached.

Caution: Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable objects. Keep out of reach of children & animals. Keep the candle free of any foreign materials including matches & wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level, fire-resistant surface. Keep away from drafts or vents to prevent uneven or rapid burning. Do not burn in direct proximity to other candles. Do not touch candle as it burns as the jar could get hot. Never use water to extinguish a candle. Though it is very rare for a glass jar to break, never allow any water to mix with the wax, this can cause breakage, and so can burning for more than 4 hours at a time. Do not extinguish with lid. Best practice is to use wick dipper and wick trimmer for candle care.
